ALEX LAWHON

Alex is a songwriter and lead singer of the matchless rock outfit "Colourslide" (his words). He's toured with Maroon 5 on their way to super-stardom and played shows with the likes of Jet, Gavin Degraw, John Mayer, Evan Dando, Train, Michelle Branch, Sara Bareilles, Third Eye Blind, Cracker and Natasha Bedingfield to name(drop) a few... With "Colourslide" Alex has had the privilege to be rewarded with the John Lennon Songwriting Contest's Maxell Song of the Year award, grace the cover of Billboard and be named by Gretsch guitars as the best unsigned band in the country (or world maybe). Their music has also earned many national television spots on ESPN, MTV, E! and OXYGEN. Alex and the band have just released their anticipated second record which was recorded by the fab Ted Comerford, mastered by the unequaled Bob Ludwig and mixed entirely by the legendary Jack Joseph Puig at Ocean Way Studios in Hollywood, CA.
